I’m the type who’d be happy not going anywhere as long as I was sure I knew exactly what was happening at the places I wasn’t going to. I’m the type who’d like to sit home and watch every party that I’m invited to on a monitor in my bedroom.

I love when kids get excited over getting things. Like a few weeks ago around here when a neighbors kid bought ice cream from the ice cream man. I watched him hold the icecream all the way up in the sky in front of him, and run back to his house while looking up at it, grinning ear to ear. I think he saw rays of holy light around it. Cutest thing ever.

This video is from 10 yrs ago. This kid is so happy over getting an N64 that it borderlines insanity. I can’t chose what my favorite part of this video is… When the little girl thanks santa? When they claw at the box? When they cheer and yell yes over and over? When he exclaims that now he can play games from blockbuster! or when he stares at the N64 while he’s opening the next present?

anyone else like this stuff?

Yeah! When I was a kid, it was the biggest, most exotic treat ever when my dad would bring it home on semi-rare occasions. My best memory of it was eating it for the first time: half the bar in 10 minutes resulting in a sweet, most delicious tahini-tummy ache.

The bars are quaint and all but you can buy hugibiganic chunkage the size of melon at the deli and gorge yourself into a coma…I call it “my precious” and have been known to hiss at those who come too near.
